Improbable Cause Mystery Theatre (ICMT) delivers family-friendly, interactive, and hilarious murder mystery dinner theatre across the Gulf Coast, with local talent and original productions. Audiences get as involved as they wish in a 90- to 120-minute experience by working individually or in groups to solve a murder through review of physical evidence and observation and interrogation of the suspects. ICMT performs at public shows, nonprofit fundraisers, and private parties. In February 2022, ICMT & ICMT Gulf Coast sold out a majority of their ticketed shows, totaling over 1200 tickets sold and averaging over 70 attendees per performance. What to Expect
The venue will host murder mystery dinner theatre events, catered internally, with tickets available to the public and ICMT will perform for the event.
Theme & Date
ICMT offers a catalog of various themes, such as 1920s speakeasy and Mardi Gras. ICMT and the venue will work together to determine the best themes and scripts for performances. ICMT has a flexible calendar but generally looks to schedule performances with a 4- to 6-week lead time for marketing, which should be done by both ICMT and the venue at the least through social media, onsite posters, and rack cards.
